Here’s the two easiest ways of generating and saving SHSH2 blobs with TSSChecker for downgrading.

When Apple is signing an iOS firmware, you can easily downgrade or upgrade to that firmware manually via iTunes. However, once the company stops signing that firmware, it is no longer possible to do it.

Jailbreak users often find it necessary to go to a specific firmware so that they can jailbreak their devices. Luckily, the Prometheus downgrade tool can be used to downgrade your device to a specific iOS version, but only if you have saved the SHSH2 blob for that firmware.

TSSChecker is the tool that allows you to save SHSH2 blobs for a specific iOS version that is being signed. The tool is quite complicated and inconvenient for a normal user. In today’s guide, I will show you the two easy methods of saving SHSH2 blobs in a matter of few minutes. One involves using TSSSaver website whereas the other uses a bot in Telegram.

How to Save SHSH2 Blobs Easily For Downgrading And Jailbreaking

Method 1: Use TSSSaver

Step 1: On your computer, open the browser and go to this URL: https://tsssaver.1conan.com/

Step 2: Under ECID section, enter your device’s ECID. You can find this in iTunes:

  • Connect your device to the computer and open iTunes.
  • Go to the Summary page.
  • Here, you’ll find a field called Serial Number. Click on it until it changes to ECID.
  • Right click on the ECID value and copy it. Then paste it into the webpage where it asks for your ECID.

Step 3: Under Identifier section, choose your device model. If it asks for the Internal Name / Model or Board Configuration of that model, you can find the Internal Name from here.

Step 4: Tick the “I’m not a robot” captcha and then click on the Submit button.

Step 5: The SHSH2 blob will be generated and a link will be provided where you can download it.

Method 2: Use Telegram Bot

Step 1: If you don’t have Telegram installed, then download it from the App Store.

Step 2: On your iPhone, open Safari and go to this link to add the Telegram bot.

Step 3: Telegram will open and display the bot. Tap on the Start button.

Step 4: Send /shsh command.

Step 5: Select your device model from the list.

Step 6: Select the iOS version for which you want to save the SHSH2 blob.

Step 7: Type your device’s ECID. You can find this in iTunes:

  • Connect your device to the computer and open iTunes.
  • Go to the Summary page.
  • Here, you’ll find a field called Serial Number. Click on it until you see the ECID.
  • Right click on the ECID value and copy it. Then paste it into the webpage where it asks for your ECID.

Step 8: After you enter your ECID, the bot will generate the SHSH2 blob for the iOS firmware that you requested and will send you the file. You’ll also get the download link for that file in case you want to save it on your computer.

These are the two easiest methods of saving the SHSH2 blob of a signed iOS firmware. Using these blobs, you can upgrade or downgrade to a specific iOS firmware using the Prometheus tool. The step-by-step guide is here. It now works with iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone 7.

can I save those blobs using any device running telegram, as I see there is only entering numbers, model names, etc. there, and telegram does not communicate on a hardware level with an iphone affected. Am I right? If so, then I should be able to save BLOBS for any iOS currently signed for my iPhone 6s, now it’s 3 iOs versions. Please confirm
