How to Fix Cydia Error “directory /var/log/apt/ missing”
Step 1: Open Cydia and install mTerminal.
Step 2: Once installed, open Terminal from your iPhone Home screen.
Step 3: Type the following commands into Terminal, pressing Enter/Return after each line:
Note: the default password of SSH is ‘alpine’. If you have changed it, then replace ‘alpine’ with the password you set.
After you enter the above commands successfully, the missing directory ‘apt’ will be created and Cydia will no longer display the error when you’re installing a package.
