While Kodi originally requires a jailbroken iOS device, there is a way to install it on a non-jailbroken device. In this guide, we will show you how to install Kodi 17 Krypton on iPhone without jailbreaking.
How to Download Kodi 17 Krypton on iOS iPhone Without Jailbreak
Step 1: Use your computer to download Kodi 17 Krypton IPA.
Step 2: Download Cydia Impactor from here, which will be used to install Kodi Krypton onto your iPhone.
Step 3: Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable and open Cydia Impactor.
Step 4: Drag and drop the Kodi Krypton IPA file onto Cydia Impactor.
Step 5: Cydia Impactor will ask for your Apple ID and password. This information is sent to Apple only and will be used to generate a certificate to sign the IPA file. If you’re not comfortable providing it, then create an alternative Apple ID and use that instead.
Step 6: After you enter your Apple ID and password, Cydia Impactor will install Kody Krypton onto your device.
Note: If you get the error “Please sign in with an app specific password”, it’s because you have two-factor authentication enabled for your Apple ID. Read this link to find out how to make an app-specific password and use that in Cydia Impactor.
Step 7: Once the app is installed, go to Settings -> General -> Profiles (or “Device Management”). Find the profile with your Apple ID and open it.
Step 8: . Tap on the ‘Trust’ button.
Step 9: Now go back to the Home screen and open Kodi. You can now use the app and enjoy its feature on a non-jailbroken device.
Note: After 7 days, the IPA will expire and start to crash. You have to follow the same steps again to re-install the app.
