clear safari cache delete history and browsing data

Here’s how you can clear the Safari cache on iPhone or iPad and delete all history and browsing data to save some storage space on your device.

When you browse a website using Safari on your iPhone, it caches some of the data on your device so that the website loads faster the next time you view it. These data include images, styling of web pages, scripts and so on. Likewise, it also stores your browsing data, history as well as cookies

While it’s good to have web pages cached and loaded faster, they take up some space on your device. The same applies to browsing data and cookies. Therefore, it’s a good idea to clear these data every once in a while to save some storage space.

It is recommended that you regularly clear the cache and browsing data to save some storage space, especially if your device has a small storage space left. Over time, these data add up to consume a large portion of your device’s storage and by clearing them, you can re-use the space for other important data.
