Here’s how you can find saved WiFi passwords on iPhone or iPad using WiFi Passwords List.
Before you can connect to a protected WiFi network on iPhone or iPad, you’ll be asked to enter its password. If you enter the password correctly, your iOS device will store the password locally so that it can automatically connect to it whenever the network is within its range.
Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t allow users to view the WiFi passwords saved on their device due to security concerns. There’s also no third-party app that will allow you to do this but if you’re jailbroken, this is possible with a Cydia app known as WiFi Passwords List.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to view the saved WiFi passwords on iPhone or iPad.
How to See Saved WiFi Passwords on iPhone or iPad
Step 1: If you’re not jailbroken, read the following guide to find out how to jailbreak:
Step 2: Open Cydia.
Step 3: Go to the Search tab and type WiFi Passwords List. Once found, tap on it to open.
Step 4: Press the Install button in the top right corner.
Step 5: Cydia will begin installing this app. Once done, go to the Home screen and you should see the app. Tap on it to open.
Step 6: Here you can view a list of all the WiFi networks you’ve connected to along with their saved passwords.
Step 7: To view the password of a particular WiFi network, find it in the list and tap on it open. You can then view its SSID, password, as well as a number of other information.
This is how you can find WiFi passwords on iPhone or iPad. Unfortunately, this is not possible without a jailbreak, so the only way to view the stored WiFi passwords is by jailbreaking and installing this Cydia app.
