To disable and remove the ‘Sent from my iPhone’ signature from the Mail app on iPhone, read this guide to find out how you can do it.
The stock Mail app in iOS is one of the best features of iOS as it allows you to receive, read, and send emails right from your iPhone without using a browser or a computer.
If you’ve ever used the Mail app on your iPhone to compose an email, you may have noticed that a signature is added at the bottom of the email that says ‘Sent from my iPhone’. You can remove it manually, but it can be frustrating if you have to do it every time you want to send an email.
Fortunately, there is a way to remove this signature completely so that it doesn’t appear again when you’re composing an email. In this tutorial, we will show you how to disable the ‘Sent from my iPhone’ text in the Mail app.
Disable or Remove ‘Sent from my iPhone’ Text in Mail App
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down a little and tap on Mail.
Step 3: Under Composing section, tap on Signature.
Step 4: Press the text field where the ‘Sent from my iPhone’ text is displayed and clear it using the iOS keyboard.
You have now disabled and removed the ‘Sent from my iPhone’ signature from the Mail app. The next time you try to compose a new email using the Mail app, the signature will no longer appear.
In the same way, if you wish to change the signature to something else, then in Step 4, instead of clearing the signature, you could change it to a text that you’d like to be displayed instead of ‘Sent from my iPhone’.
