semirestore lite restore iOS jailbreak

Here’s how you can use SemiRestore Lite to erase and restore iOS 10 – iOS 10.2 without losing jailbreak.

The jailbreak for iOS 10 has been out for a long time and many users are enjoying all the amazing Cydia packages that are available. For some of you, your device might be bloated with tons of tweaks by now and you may be thinking to start afresh.

Normally, when you restore your jailbroken iOS device, the jailbreak will be removed and your device will be updated to the latest iOS firmware which might not have any jailbreaks. As of this writing, the latest firmware is iOS 10.2.1 which doesn’t have any jailbreaks available yet. Therefore, it’s not a good idea to go with the normal restore method.

The good news however is that SemiRestore has been updated to work with the iOS 10 – iOS 10.2 jailbreak. This tool allows you to restore your jailbroken device and start afresh on the same firmware without losing the jailbreak. It removes all the jailbreak tweaks and packages that you’ve installed on your device and resets it to its original state. This is good if you are facing issues because of the jailbreak and would like to return to the fresh install of the jailbreak.

In today’s tutorial, we will show you how to use SemiRestore Lite to erase your iOS 10 jailbreak device without losing the jailbreak.
