Here’s how you can remove the Continue Watching movies and shows in Netflix that is shown on the Home page.
When you’re watching a movie or TV show in Netflix, they are added to the Continue Watching list. This list contains all the movies and shows that you have started to watching but haven’t finished yet.
This feature allows you to easily keep track of the movie and shows that are yet to be finished rather than having to manually search for them or remember. This is quite useful, but sometimes you don’t want to watch a content anymore so it can be annoying to have it listed in the Continue Watching section.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to clear the Continue Watching list and remove all the movies and shows.
How to Remove Continue Watching List in Netflix
In order to clear the Continue Watching list, you have to remove the movies and TV shows from your viewing history.
Step 1: Click on your profile name in the top right corner of Netflix. From the menu, click on Your Account.
Step 2: On the account page, scroll down to the My Profile section and click on the Viewing Activity link.
Step 3: A list of all the movies and TV shows that you’ve watched is displayed here in the Viewing Activity page.
Step 4: To remove a particular movie or show from your viewing history, find it in the list and click on the ‘X’ icon next to it. This will remove the content from all your devices within 24 hours. Continue removing all the movies and shows that you don’t want to appear in the Continue Watching list.
Step 5: Now go back to the home page of Netflix and the movies and TV shows that you just removed will no longer appear in the Continue Watching section.
That’s all you need to do to remove the Continue Watching list in Netflix. Sometimes it may take up to 24 hours to remove a movie or TV show from the viewing history, but when it happens, it will no longer be displayed in the Continue Watching list.
